Rentea is a mobile app that simplifies property renting in East Africa. With Rentea, you can easily search for properties, filter by location, price, and amenities, and contact property owners directly.

Forgot Password

Step 1: Accessing the Forgot Password Feature

• Visit the Sign In page.

• Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
• Click on the Forgot Password button (blue in color).

Step 2: Choosing Your Recovery Method

If you have an email address:

• Enter your User Number.
• Enter your Email Address.

If you don't have an email address:

• Click on the Have No Email button.

Step 3: Receiving and Entering the OTP

• An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your email (if you entered one).
• The OTP will expire in 2 minutes if not used.
• Enter the OTP.

Step 4: Changing Your Password

If you entered an email address:

• You will be directed to a page to change your password.

If you clicked on Have No Email:

• You will need to enter your User Number.
• You will need to enter your Contact Number (registered with us).
• The OTP will be sent to the management and forwarded to you soon.
